A narrative on the impossibility of me resisting piles and piles of candy

The kids won't mind if I eat a couple of these; I'll just be sure to only eat the ones they don't like. Like anything with nuts.

Although I'm pretty sure Zoe won't miss this 3 Musketeers; she seems to have a lot more candy in her pumpkin than the other kids. Maybe she got more for being the shortest?

So NOW I'll only eat the ones with nuts. Mmmm, Snickers really satisfies.

Hm. That Snickers was good but I don't want to be left with this peanutty taste in my mouth.

Let's try Baby Ruth. Delicious. Wait, still have that peanutty taste.

Better clear that out with a Crunch bar. Molly has at least 4 of these, she'll never miss it.

Tasty again but I need something more refreshing to end on.

Ah, a butter mint. My favorite. Really cleanses the ol' palate.

This was me one day this week from 1:30-1:40pm. Or I mean every day this week. The only difference is that sometimes there are some Almond Joy's or Reese's thrown into the mix...

As I read your post, I still have the taste of a Hershey bar of Gabe's that I just finished in my mouth! I'm trying to soak up as much chocolate as I can before Monday!

My theory is that if I eat ONLY candy during the day, then it's fine. Nuts have protein, right? This morning I have not had breakfast, but did have a snickers. Yesterday for lunch I had half an apple and the followed that up with 4 or 5 pieces of candy. I actually sent a big bag of my favorite things to work with Eric. So we are pretty much left with Laffy Taffy, Starburst, and blowpops -- all things I can go without.

Not good, I had to eat a candy bar after reading your post! Thanks, Just kidding. This time of year is so hard to stay away from candy and desserts.

You are so funny. This year my weakness is the Milky Way Midnight. Oh, and the mint 3 Musketeers. Too yummy.

The rational(izing) approach to in-house theft! How sweet it is.

I require a candy Tax from each of my children (Kit Kat or Snickers ) and thats why I must shop in the BIG GIRL section...another reason to hate taxes....

at least you have children to keep you from truly chowing ... in an effort to be seasonal, i bought a big ol' bag of candy, somehow not realizing that me and hubs would be the only ones to eat it.

someone needs to stop me. seriously.
