Visitors!

The first weekend of July we had a fun event; my very good friend Leigh and her husband & five sons came from Salt Lake to stay with us! Leigh's sister got married in Mesa that weekend. Unfortunately it was the HOTTEST weekend they could possibly have come; it was 118 degrees the day of the wedding! Our kids got along SO well and had a really fun time together. They did a lot of swimming, played some Wii, foosball, Legos, and Leigh took her family on a little tour around Phoenix where she used to live (during our freshman & sophomore years of high school; that's how we know each other... and we've kept in touch ever since!)

Leigh and I spent some time playing piano duets (the same ones we used to play together in high school!), playing Rockband at night with our husbands (Leigh & Dan ROCK at Rockband!), and staying up late talking and looking at old yearbooks. They were only here for three nights and two full days but I think we made the most of our time together; it was a lot of fun. Unfortunately I hardly took any pictures!

I went to her sister's reception Saturday night, which was decorated SO nicely -- I'd say it was the best church gym reception I've seen. Everything was very cute. And, it was fun to see most of Leigh's family and catch up a little bit. You guys are welcome to come again any time!
