I know dust storms are a bummer for some people but I have always loved them. Watching that wall of dust blow in is just such an awesome sight! Here's how it looked from our backyard last night. It kind of side-swiped us and we were spared the dust but we got plenty of wind and a few sprinkles of rain. Here comes the haboob!

I enjoy them if I'm safely inside my house. I hate driving in them or being outside in them. We got pummeled with rain & hail last night. So much and so hard, about 1/4 of INSIDE our garage had puddles!
That is such an awesome shot...like something out of a movie! I love a good storm and I'm sure I would think they were kinda cool too.

that picture rivals the couple I saw on 12 news this morning...sent in my "citizen journalists!" I always love that word...haboob...
The only thing better than a big dust storm is a nice loud thunder storm!
