Lucy loves shoes.

Lucy had a cough throughout much of January, and one day in early February her breathing started getting a little weird at night, which reminded me too much of Noah's episode in 2009 when he spent two nights in the hospital. So, I took her in to the pediatrician before it could get worse. She was fine; just needed a breathing treatment to clear her up and she used an inhaler for the next few nights at home.

She thought the breathing treatment was pretty neat-o, and here's her attempt at the same "Darth Vader" pose that her brother did when he was at the hospital 3 years ago doing the same thing. Silly.
Our pediatrician's office is very close to my parents' house, so any time my kids have had to go to the doctor it has been accompanied by a trip to Pamma's. This was especially awesome back when I had twin infants and my mom would help me, either with babysitting my older two kids, or with my twins at the doctor!

While were were visiting, Lucy found a pair of Pamma's shoes that fit her almost perfectly, thanks to my mom's tiny feet, and she wore these around for the rest of the time we were there.

She got a little bored with no other kids around to play with and me chit-chatting with my mom, so I gave her my camera for entertainment and she took several pictures of "the shoes:"

(There are actually quite a few more pictures, too).

What a silly; I love this girl.

I still remember the thrill of getting to try on your mom's tall heels when I was 9 or 10 :)
