So there it is. I was checking my blog stats and noticed that a "came from" page was a Google search for "ponyparty paradise." Why someone would search that, I don't know, but if you type it just like that, your first hit is my blog! How bizarre. This is in reference to a pair of past posts, PonyParty and Paradise. Would love to have kept going with that alliteration...
So hey all you fellow-bloggers, especially those of you who are more blog-savvy than I, is there a way to keep yourself from coming up on search engines? Fortunately, most of what I've had to say has been much more generic and not as likely to come up for the average Googler.

I can totally relate. I saw that one of the search engine referrals to my blog was for "vespa toilet pics." What on earth?! Yet sure enough, if you goole it, I'm right on top.
I know that when I was setting up my blog's settings, there was a box to check for search engine referrals. Am sure you will be able to figure out how to undo it.
I think that is pretty funny! It is especially funny that in the top line of the description, it has the word "snaggletoothiness." I think I would click on it just to find out about that!
i've heard tons about how to get listed on search engines, but don't know much about getting off them.
for a long time i was tops for something like "naked scrunchies." and i swear i didn't even mention scrunchies. (nakedness, however, was indeed mentioned.)
I don't know how blogspot handles search engine requests. There may be a setting somewhere that you can check, but I'm not familiar with the interface. As you know, my website is run on WordPress, which is something that I host up. WordPress has a setting with two options you can check. One is "I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines and archivers" and the other option is "I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitors". I have the second option checked. Because, like you, my site is for friends and family to see what's going on, but not for some random people googling ponyparties or nakedness!!
