Remember how my camera got run over by a truck in January, but then miraculously continued to function for two whole months even though the screen was all cracked, and then one day it suddenly stopped working altogether? Well part of Hubs' Mother's Day gift to me was to figure out my camera situation, whether it was getting the old one fixed or getting a brand new one. I don't need a brand new one; my old one was perfect, and Hubs' fancy Rebel is too complicated for me to do anything but point & shoot with... anyway the good news is that my old camera is getting fixed, as we speak, for the decent price of $100 which is much less than a comparable new camera, and will be shipped back to me within a week! Yippee!
In sad news, let us observe a moment of silence for our deceased fish. We think it was Meshack, who we've had for nearly 2 1/2 years. But within 24 hours of his demise the other fish (and crabs) had reduced him to nothing but a bit of skull. Cannibals!

Sorry to hear that about your fish. And seriously Sara, learn how to use the dang rebel. My "hubs" won't buy me one and has no interest in one for himself. Maybe I should have insisted that a new Nikon D90 would also grind wheat like my new BlendTec.
Signed,
Just a wee bit jealous (aka Meredith)
Hurray for working cameras!
My regards to the fish. Those cannibals took away all the fun of a burial at sea. Our tumor fish is still swimming--and tumor free!
