My kids & I, my two sisters and their kids, and my mom got together Wednesday afternoon for our annual Gingerbread House Day. In the past the kids have decorated gingerbread people; this year some of them also made graham cracker houses, which they LOVED doing.
But now it's time for the serious part: the official online blog judging of the houses made by the grown-ups. Last year only three of us made houses; this year all four of us did so the competition is tough and the stakes are high! And we even had an official festive fabric backdrop for the pictures!
I have included three different angles so that you can get a full appreciation for the incredible skill and artistic ability that went into each house. Just kidding. I felt a little rushed myself and didn't feel like I brought my "A game" this year, but even still it's fun to see what we each came up with.

In the comments section, please tell which house is your favorite. And, even if you don't like any of them or can't decide on a favorite, any kind words and compliments in general are always appreciated.
Thank you.

I really like the looks of A (although all are more impressive than ours), but I think I'd like to eat the candy off D better. Looks vs. taste, the age old dilemma.
Personally I think they are all Awesome!!!, but since I have to pick I'd also go with A :)
what a fun even to do with the cousins, aunts, and GRANDMA :)
WOW! SO impressed. It'a a toss up between A and B. But I also like the work of C. And the candy on D, ohhh so tough. I think I'll lean towards A.
a is my pick.
such a fun tradition.
B is my pick! They all look great...what a fun tradition.
My votes are in this order:
#1 A
#2 D
#3 B
#4 C
You guys are seriously the most competitive family ever! I pick Jamie's, what letter is that? Ha ha.
All of them look so great, it is so hard to choose....I think I have to go with A.
Holy cow! So many comments already!!! I'm not saying anything.... but I might just put a few close-up photos on my blog.
Before I cast my vote I have to say that those are all REALLY great! My family did this too this weekend and all of yours look better than most of ours.
So I'm going with B. I'm in love with the rainbow star wall, but I like the colors of it too.
But really - they are all really really pretty!
I am going to vote for D. D really is the best. It looks like a professional decorated that house -- mostly that lovely woman on the back!

Is the "A Game" a hint that 'A' is yours Sara?
Well, if it is- great job, because that one is the one I vote for!
Oh that's very clever thinking Tiff, but I hadn't thought of that... mine is not A :)
They are all really cute, but my favorite is B :) Cute houses!
I like them all but if I have to choose I would pick c. I love all the frosting it looks like it's covered in snow.

Gabe votes D and I vote B. They are all awesome!
My six year old and I both vote for A
So I think it was ME who made it a competition after no one voted for me last year! Too bad that most of my work was copied from another sister this year! And I didn't know that we were going to have the back side displayed! I would have worked on mine more...
I like them all but my vote is C
Kate asked me to vote. (So you know who this stranger is). I like B.
Did you put anything on the inside of the graham cracker houses or did they do a good job of standing up on their own? Just wondering because we're doing that on Monday:)
