Luge-inspired

I think I said this during the last Olympics, or at least I thought it, but it's good thing the Olympics only roll around every two years because we have the TV on constantly and don't get much else done! We love the Olympics, both summer and winter.

In other news, have you been to Yodipity yet? It's fun! The kids & I went yesterday afternoon (a perfect President's Day activity) and got to experience it first-hand. There are several delicious flavors of frozen yogurt, and then there's the TOPPINGS! Oh my, the toppings. I think they advertise that there are 60 toppings; my kids were in topping-heaven. It's self-serve and pay-by-the-ounce, so you can go ahead and get as many toppings as you want. I suppose you could even fill a cup with only toppings and skip the frozen yogurt altogether! My kids got mint and/or cookies n' cream yogurt, with snow caps, mini m'n'ms, mini chocolate chips, chocolate syrup... and one of them even got NERDS candy. I went for the more mature approach and got strawberry & vanilla yogurt, with mangoes on top. Oh yummy. They have big screens playing a slideshow of happy customers and interesting trivia (who doesn't love trivia?), and the place is painted in bright citrus colors and has ice cream parlor-style chairs and high stools. It's really a great little shop; you should totally go. Plus, you might know one of the owners.

Video is not working?!?

I agree about the Olympics. I am totally sleep-deprived because I keep staying up late to watch...but thankfully at least it's not as late (time-delayed) as Beijing was.

That yogurt shop looks good; too bad it's so far away. We'll have to go the next time we go up to Bass Pro Shop - we love that place!

thanks for the plug. i'm so glad you liked it. i go for the completely immature approach and get peanut butter and chocolate with every single peanut butter/chocolate topping available. it's yummy. but maybe i shouldn't be getting it twice a day? :)

oh, and thanks for calling me about mabel's glasses. we were only about half way home.
