We had our spring piano recital last night and it went great! Zoe was home sick with stomach flu and was so sad to miss her first recital, so we'll be having a little family recital tonight (just with our household), also since I forgot to videotape my other 3 kids in the recital last night. Three other students were unable to make it, so 17 out of my 21 students were in the recital. They all did a great job. I wish I had time to teach more; there is such a demand for piano teachers! If you can play well and want to teach, you should do it! I get calls from potential new students all the time; if I said yes to them all I would have at least 30 students by now. But I'm determined to not take any more time away from my family than I already do; I will definitely not be adding any more to my schedule. Anyway, last night was great. It's a good experience for the kids to perform their prepared piece in front of a crowd. Thanks to everyone who came and also everyone who brought refreshments afterwards; whoever brought the chocolate chip banana bread thanks for letting me bring home the leftovers!

This is regarding Molly's b-day post...but I am obsessed with your rainbow cake! I was in awe of the top part and then I saw the INSIDE?!?! Amazing.
