Speaking of being old...

The kids & I just came home from our Tuesday "Summer Movie." We've been enjoying a different movie every week, with two more to go. The last movie of the season is Muppets From Space, and I was explaining to Zoe that every summer they choose a blend of current movies with a few older movies mixed in; and that the Muppet movies were made when I was young. So then Zoe said,

"Oh! So they had movies in COLOR when you were a kid?"

Good grief, child!

Hahaha! Kids are SOO great aren't they?! A few weeks ago, I pulled out one of my favorite old--but in color--VHS movies, Annie. It hadn't been re-wound so I had to re-wind it before the kids could watch it. It took like 3 minutes but the way the kids were whining, it felt like 3 hours! "Come ON mom!!! Start the movie already..." Kids these days are SOO spoiled:)

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! We were with my parents this weekend celebrating my dad's birthday, and when he asked Megan (5) how old she thinks he is, her answer was 21. She got extra Grandpa hugs for that one. Kids' perceptions of age are so fun!
