September is my usual swimsuit shopping time. The past two or three Septembers I have taken advantage of end-of-summer sales from my favorite online swimsuit companies.I have been wanting to buy a new suit from Lime Ricki, and today they announced (on Facebook) that EVERYTHING is 50% off through the 7th!
Last year I bought a swimsuit from Modbe right before they went out of business. That was in the fall, and it was so fun to start wearing it when spring/summer rolled around. I think I'll do the same thing this year but with a new cute Lime Ricki suit. Go get one!
(Have any of you bought a swim suit from Lime Ricki before? How do the sizes run?)

You are lucky you can buy clothes (especially swimsuits) online. The few times I've tried, nothing fits right.
Lime Rickie runs SUPER SMALL. I bought a small top according to my other swim suits and it practically fit Lindsay. I bought a large bottom (for my ehem....large bottom and all my other suit bottoms are a large) and it was way too small. I also thought that it felt rather young - like if I was a 23 year old hip young mama it would have been perfect. Maybe it was just the suit I chose. I have been pretty happy with a suit from Down East I got this summer.
Danika -- in the past I've only bought siwmsuits from companies that I have also bought clothes from before, so I know how their sizes run. They're not all perfect but I've had pretty decent luck with them. I love Lime Ricki's bright colors and styles but I'm a little concerned about the sizing.
The sizes do run small. I have the Chloe, Nicki, and Jessica tops one bottom, and a skirt from them, and they're all in Large. I'm lucky enough to live about 15 miles away from the store so I was able to try them on before I bought them. I'm bummed that I didn't get them for 50% off (I got them at different times in the past several months when they were on sale, but not 50%!) Great Deal!
Oh, and I also took advantage of the Shade Liquidation Sale last week at their warehouse. I just got some basics that I always use- camis and a couple of t's.
I bought a Modbe swimsuit this year. Yes, they still have swim. And they still had the "flounce", that cute one you have. I almost bought it, then changed my mind. My mom also bought one from Shade, and some shirts for me too. I LOVE sale swim season!!
Downeast Basics at Chandler Mall (and online) have swimsuit tops for five bucks and bottoms for five!?! I just bought a tankini top, bottoms, AND a swim skirt for 17 dollars!!!
Pretty sweet :)
