Silly dinner

It was a particularly busy Sunday for me.

After waking up early and getting myself and four kids ready for church, we arrived at 8:05am for a quick choir rehearsal before singing in Sacrament meeting. After running through the choir song I changed into my organ shoes to play prelude; today was one of the rare weeks I subbed on the organ. The choir song went fine. After Sacrament meeting I had a few minor things to worry about for primary; but most of the rest of church was fairly relaxing. We stayed after church for 20 minutes or so for temple recommend interviews, then as soon as we got home I turned on the oven to bake up about 5 dozen cookies to take to choir practice (there are plenty left over to put in the kids' lunches). Changed into more comfortable clothes, ate a Costco tamale for lunch, and packed up my music & music stand for choir practice. Choir was from 1:30-2:30 and I stayed a little late talking to my sister afterwards (her ward choir meets at the same time & same building as mine). As soon as I got home I saw that our Home Teacher was here to visit. He stayed for half an hour or so and then Aaron & I had to change back into church clothes (I think he'd left his on; smart guy!) leave again for our stake temple recommend interviews. Everything was over by 4:30 or so, but I was beat! I spent some time looking through the kids school papers, spent some time on the computer, and when dinner time rolled around I just didn't have it in me to cook.

Aaron agreed to be in charge of feeding the kids... he found some frozen corndogs, some frozen breaded shrimp, and whoever didn't want those got sandwiches or cereal.

Look at what a fun dad he is:

I married a pretty great guy.

How great is that!
AnnaLisa says that you are one of the busiest persons because you have so many church jobs (Primary, cub scouts, choir, piano teacher). Oh, and you do that great computer recipe thing.
She makes me laugh. She loves the snacks at choir.
The choir did a great job yesterday.

Holy Cow! I had the SAME kind of Sunday yesterday! Sometimes I feel like church callings are a full-time job in and of themselves! Way to go SUPER MOM!

Man, there's a little bit of everything in there!- Kix, Clementines, Apple Jacks, Craisins, Peas, and Dried Mangos in addition to the other food. I bet he has no problem coming up with stuff to make a snowmen face (when he does make a snowman).
