After a brutally hot August & first part of September, we are finally starting to see some relief around here. Yes, the high's are still near 100, but that's a lot better than 110-115, AND the lows are now in the low 70's! Delightful! As a result, the past three days the kids have spent every spare moment playing outside; before school and in the evenings once it cools off. The activity of choice has been football, except that nobody calls it football, they all say, "Let's play 2-hand touch!"
This morning they opted for a quick game of catch while they waited for carpool to pick them up.
Hooray for fall!
