My Friday (not a normal one by any stretch)
6:15 - wake up (earlier than usual)
6:30 - on the treadmill, while watching 30 minutes' worth of Prison Break Season 2
7:15 - help Molly wash her hair (that girl has some thick hair!) and get ready for school (Noah had already taken care of himself)
7:40 - get breakfast for all 4 kids
7:50 - my quick shower
8:15 - take Noah & Molly to school, along with the other carpool kids
9:00 - bathe Zoe & Lucy, finish getting myself put together
9:50 - leave to take Z & L to their "music & movement" class
10:10 - pick up Molly from school (it was half-day... or in her case, quarter day) and take Molly's two carpool friends home to their respective houses
10:45 - Molly & I go to the gas station, the bank, and Walgreens
11:30 - home, long enough to bring our Walgreens loot inside and wrap Molly's friend's birthday present for a party later
11:45 - pick up Zoe, Lucy, & my nephew Sam from their class
12:00 - home long enough to eat a few Ritz crackers and help Molly change into her costume for the party
12:15 - take Molly to her friend's house (whose mom would later drive her to the party), with the three 3-yr-olds in tow
12:35 - drop off the 3-yr-olds at Jamie's house (meanwhile Noah's carpool picked him up from school - half-day - and took him to Jamie's house too)
12:50 - Jamie feeds lunch to about a million kids (thanks Jame!)
1:00 - at school for my parent/teacher conference with Molly's teacher; she's doing great
1:20 - my parent/teacher conference with Noah's teacher; he's doing great
Still with me?
2:00 - take a little breather at Jamie's house, adding to her chaos because now all the cousins are there
2:45 - go home (with my 3 who'd been at Jamie's); go over Noah's school work/papers/report card with him, then make him change into church clothes
3:30 - leave to pick Molly up from the party, having brought a dress for her to change in the car
3:50 - receive cellphone call asking me to pick up the neighbor boys
3:55 - take Molly's friend home; Molly changes from costume to church dress
4:12 - Noah & Molly arrive, 12 minutes late, for Primary Program Practice at the church
4:20 - pick up the neighbor boys and deliver them to the church
4:45 - after battling rush-hour traffic and 1/2 mile stretch of major road closure, the twins & I arrive at Staples to make copies and pick up a few things
5:15 - drop off the few things & the copies at home, while Zoe & Lucy stay in the car in the garage eating gummi bears
5:25 - pick up the big kids from church where they're having a pizza party - luckily we are all able to eat some free pizza (they had lots extra)
5:40 - load up the 6 kids (my 4 and the 2 neighbor boys), take everyone home, and call it a day. Yep, at 5:40 I was done. It was a good day to own a cellphone. And a car.
Epilogue: Aaron rented the Love Bug (1968) and we had "family movie night" complete with popcorn. The kids loved it! Molly was so concerned when Herbie started falling apart in the last race...

whoa. :)
Yikes!!!!
Compared to your busy day, feeding 9 kids lunch was nothin'!
It was a crazy day for us too, but not THAT crazy. Thanks for adding Sammy into the mix. At least this kind of day happens only once a year at most. :)
Later after I'd posted this I realized there were, at different times, a total of 11 different kids in my car over the course of the day. I think that's a record! The 3rd row definitely came in handy that day, as did the cellphone.
