Eight is Great!

Eight years ago today I became a momma for the first time. What a wonderful day!! Noah is such a great kid; so smart and fun and talented.

He was born prior to our digital camera days, and since my scanner's not currently working, this is a picture of the scrapbook double-page to commemorate the occasion (click to enlarge).

He actually came out looking like this; isn't that the most perfect newborn face you've ever seen? This was when he was about 8 hours old.

Last night Noah set his alarm so he could wake up at 1:24am and observe the actual moment of his birth; the moment when would actually turn eight years old today. What a funny kid! Unfortunately he slept through the alarm but was still very excited when he woke up this morning. This week will be a busy, fun time for us; getting ready for his baptism this Saturday, his birthday party on Friday, and his Grandparents and cousin Malori coming from Utah on Thursday! Today we'll be spending the afternoon at my parents' house, swimming and playing original Nintendo Mario Bros. Fun day!
I love you Noah; happy birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We love Noah too. He's such a funny kid. And we all know he's quite brainy too. I was looking through some recent pictures of him that I have, and he's always making a goofy face. Glad you got him to smile for the camera. :)

Happy Birthday, Noah!!

And I must say that he was totally impressing my house guests with his serious piano skills on Saturday!

I don't think anything changes your life quite like your first child. Happy birthday, Noah!!!

Noah shares a birthday with my sister-in-law Kristina (in your ward). And I swear I have exactly the same type of photos with Brandon...sleeping on Kevin's chest, etc!

Happy Birthday Noah! And congratulations on your upcoming baptism!

I still remember Sara with her belly loading up the U-haul and heading to Arizona. I was so sad to see my friend drive away. :( I just can't believe that was 8 years ago!

I'm with Danika, we have similar pictures of Gabe--the feet, the way AP is holding him up and looking at him. And Gabe had a perfect face right away too. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOAH! I can't believe how old he is! WOW, time flies by fast. I'm not sure if this is rude, but if it's possible we would really love to come to his baptism. (If not, I understand)What a wonderful day for him and your whole family!
