Such a great weekend!

These pictures will be all mixed up but I'll give you a brief synopsis of what you're seeing. On Thursday night Hubs' parents along with our niece Malori came to stay with us for the weekend! It was great fun. On Friday afternoon was Noah's birthday party at Bounce U. I'm still debating whether or not the expense was worth it but the kids all had a great time, especially the birthday boy! And, it was nice to not have it at our house and to be able to walk away from the mess and come home afterwards. The teenaged boys working there (who did a great job with our party) seemed totally unimpressed with the basketball cake; oh well.

On Saturday was Noah's baptism. If you ever want a huge adrenalin shot to your testimony and emotions, watch your firstborn get baptized. Woah. It was just awesome. On Sunday our bishop had Noah sit on the stand next to him from the beginning of Sacrament meeting until he was announced as the newest member of our ward. Noah looked so handsome in his new shirt, tie, and CTR tie tack, and he looked so short next to our tall bishop on the stand.

The in-laws went home Sunday afternoon after a great visit. Let the record show that I have the best in-laws; there's no comparison. Don't even try to argue with me. And I'm not just saying that because they might be reading this :)

I had way too much on my plate this weekend but everything turned out just as I wanted it to - from the cake to the party to the baptism to the brunch afterwards - it was a really really wonderful time. So, here are about a zillion pictures for you to digest now. Oh and I'm also including a picture of my new cubscout in his uniform last week before he went to his first den meeting (and passed off his Bobcat, by the way). A big week for Noah!

Most of the pictures should enlarge when you click on them.

Okay. Great weekend! Great pics.

So #1. The teenage boys were probably not impressed with your cake because I bet they thought you BOUGHT it. It looks too professional!!

#2. You do have the greatest in-laws. Seriously. No one can argue with that.

#3. How did you get your girls hair to look like that on Sunday morning? It doesn't look like a curling iron and is too pretty for left-over braids or pink curlers. Do tell.

#4. I am SOOOOO glad that we live close enough to be a part of all the fun!

Great pictures!! I would like you to email the one of Paige at the party (you know, the ones in the little firetruck). Thanks!
Those flying wallenda (sp?) pictures are awesome.

How DID you do their hair? That same method as the other day when we went to the movie? It looks so pretty!

Noah is growing up too quickly. Well, they all are. He does look so handsome in his shirt and tie & uniform.

And I'm not trying to start a fight or nuthin'... but my in-laws could kick your in-laws' trash. ;) (Actually, I think we're both pretty much completely blessed in the in-law dept.)

A couple more comments...
1. Why does Zoe look SO tiny in the curly hair picture? I mean, I know she's little... but not THAT little. And is Lucy really almost as tall as Molly?
2. Wow, I look tan in that picture on me holding Paige at the party. Nice!
3. I never saw the baptism towel in person. That's awesome! What a cool idea.
4. Your kids sure are darling.

I love birthday parties at bounce houses--so I'm sure everyone else did too (I of course, have not yet invested my money in one, but it's an idea for a big birthday).

Is that Malori who is standing next to Noah in the striped dress? She is soo grown up.

And, I don't care how you did the girls hair since I don't need to attempt it, but it is BEAUTIFUL!! I'm going to have my boys check out that picture for sure!!

Well, my comments sound the same as everyone else:

1. LOVE the hair!!

2. You do have some SWEEET in-laws...mine pretty much rock too!

3. Did you see the form on Molly and Zoe's toes as they jumped? Totally profesh!

4. Malori is like 10 feet tall, I swear, Noah looks so short next to him.

5. Who made the towel? I'm guessing Pamma...that is such an awesome idea, I'll have to remember that one.

Great pics!
