We ended up getting together with another family to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday... this is not something we normally do, but with it being the Cardinals and all, it was a special occasion! The food was all so yummy and I just wanted to make your mouths water by telling you what we ate/snacked on:
My friend made:
chicken wings
chicken nuggets for the kids
artichoke dip w/ bread
veggie tray
brownies
pumpkin roll
I made:
7-layer (Mexican) dip with tortilla chips
potato skins
apples w/ caramel dip
deviled eggs
pumpkin chocolate chip bread
fresh lemonade
Since it was just our two families we had a LOT left over, but that's okay with me! Makes for lots of yummy snacks around here this week!
Did you eat anything fun for the Super Bowl?

YUM! We had a turkey dinner. I know... not really super-bowl-ish... but I had been wanting a turkey. We had peas, mashed potatoes, and stuffing with it. Oh, and some yummy manzanita soda. That stuff is good!
The best part is all the leftover turkey. So tasty!
I'm not a super-bowl-er (is that a word?), but I did make a yummy taco salad and cake for Sjon and his brother who came over to watch with him.
Ruth made 7-layer bean dip on Sunday for us as well!
Sorry about your team, but it was a good game to watch.
Yup...and I have been eating it for two days! I will be posting the (easy) recipe for these killer brownies I made and will be giving credit to my sis in law in Atlanta. Oh, and I was chomping on left over veggie pizza at my sister's house too. Yum.
Man, it's time to post something new, Sara--if only so I won't get massive cravings for all this food every time I visit your blog.
