Jam time!

This is probably the 9th or 10th year I've made strawberry freezer jam. I make enough for the whole year (pictured is only part of this year's batch) so it's the only kind of jam/jelly we ever eat around here; we also eat homemade raspberry and blackberry freezer jam on occasion. The bright beautiful redness of this strawberry jam makes me so happy.

AND this year I am so excited about the new-to-me discovery of these plastic freezer jam containers! I have always used glass jars but there's no reason to. These plastic ones have screw-on lids, come in half pint and full pint sizes, and are stackable when empty! Stackable when full too; they are made to stack so they are very stable in the freezer. Marvelous invention!
