So guess what I discovered the other day while I was casually strolling through Blogland? My middle school best friend and college roommate’s little sister’s friend’s little sister ... IS… my mother-in-law’s business partner’s new daughter-in-law! Isn’t that amazing? Okay, so it would've been more amazing if the globe had been cris-crossed and somehow my cousin in New Zealand was connected, or if there were African tribal dialects involved and not just "AZ Mormon to Utah Mormon" but I still thought it was a fun & interesting connection!

This is so random. It might be "amazing" if you actually knew the business partner's daughter-in-law... or if Mrs. R's little sister was BFF with your sister-in-law... but this is kind of a stretch. I wouldn't brag about something so random.
I'm not trying to be rude here... but to call this an "amazing" connection?? You're silly. :)
Hope you know that my comment above was written in a very fun-spirited context. I didn't intend to come off as a mean-head.
I thought this was pretty random too. I didn't want to say anything rude either, so I have waited to make a comment. I'm glad that Kate said it first! :)
How about posting more pics of your kids...like everyone out swimming? Or maybe of your very recently cleaned out dining room? We, the blog readers, LOVE pictures the most.
Sheesh!!!
FYI, I WAS just about to post pics of the kids swimming, but NOT because you said to! Obviously the "random connection" was just filler until I had time to post something else. I pretty much just thought it would be interesting for Ruth to read. Let's try to keep the comments positive please!

Oh brother. We're both just kidding. I just think your use of the word "amazing" is what threw me for a loop! :) I love your blog.
So Sara, you had better explain this connection to me. I assume that the girl is Ben's wife, Lauren?
