First day of School part 2

Hooray for Zoe & Lucy!
Yes, these two are twins. Yes, they're like... several inches different in height. And hair color & texture, eye color, skin tone, shoe size, personality, and just about every other difference you can imagine! I wouldn't have it any other way; they're awesome!
Zoe and Lucy have been looking forward to this for years... they've been to their siblings' preschool programs, have visited the "preschool house," and now TODAY they actually got to go to preschool! Their teacher told me they did great. They didn't seem to have any trepidation and didn't even notice that I'd left them there, without me. I will be working there on Thursdays but they will apparently have no separation anxiety on Tuesdays! Of course it helps that they have each other too.
They knew just what to do when they got there!

As for me... well I experienced something quite new today! All four children of mine were in school... at the same time... for two and a half hours! So here's what I did:

1) bought a new electric pencil sharpener & a few other supplies at OfficeMax
2) bought two new pairs of sunglasses and some earrings at Kohl's (cheap cheap)
3) bought a whole bunch of soap at Bath & Body Works -- they're having their annual handsoap sale! 5 for $15! That's $3 a piece you know, so quite comaparable to grocery store handsoap prices but with much better yummy smells! So I stocked up. Around this house, we think the Brown Sugar & Fig soap smells like Obsession. Yum! And, they have a new scent called Sea Island Cotton that is so lovely; very clean and nice. Check it out!
4) bought a bunch of groceries at Safeway, as in, a "big trip," as opposed to the "run and get some milk" trips we've been living off of lately since it's a bit of a chore to do a "big trip" with all 4 kids in tow...

SO as you can see, this new schedule won't be easy on the ol' pocketbook. Don't worry, I don't aim to always go out and spend spend spend every time the kids are in school. Today I just had a few errands to catch up on. Other terrific ideas I have for these fun new Tuesday mornings are exercising and housecleaning. But I'll probably do some grocery shopping and some Target trips and some bonbon eating and some blogging too.

Any way you slice it, I think I can get used to this...

Invite me over when you get to the bonbon part!

Clearly, great minds think alike.

Sea Island Cotton is my second favorite and can really be mixed/matched with Dancing Waters.

Way, way cute kids!

So cute! And how lucky you have that free time. Even with Sammy in school, the schedule does not allow for much free time. Just lots of driving back and forth time.

OH man, I look forward to that day. I can see why you went errand-crazy. I'm experiencing a small bit of that today with both kids napping at the same time! I am, however, tied to the house, so that doesn't leave much room for spending...but I may watch a movie or take a nap!

Man those girls are cute! Can't wait to see them in a week!
