I think it's great McCain picked a woman. I don't know anything about her and I have no idea what it will do to his chances of winning, but she does have a cool name! Sadly, I'm not really into politics.
And what's up with you bidding on that cute brown & turquoise purse that I wanted??? I'm a bid-watcher and last-minute bidder. It's too frustrating for me otherwise & makes me a bit crazy & obsessive (more than usual...)! I have my eye on a few things, though.
I just can't believe she had a baby right before me and may be the Veep - can you imagine??? I think she is inspiring though...

So far I've heard people say Palin with a short a and also with a long a. Either way you pronounce it, I sure like what I know about her.
