Cinnamon Rolls

Does anyone have a really good cinnamon roll recipe? I have made them before, but have never been 100% satisfied with a recipe; or else I've been really happy with them but I had changed the recipe on the spot (which is very common for me to do) and didn't write down what I did differently that made them taste so good (also very common for me to do). So what I would like is a good reliable from-scratch gooey delicious sticky melt-in-your-mouth cinnamon roll recipe, that I won't have to change and that will taste fabulous on the first try since I'll be serving these to a group of people (non-family) this weekend. Thanks!

I'm not a cinnamon roll expert, but my grandma is. She always uses bread dough and not sweet dough. I've also had cinnamon rolls with brown sugar instead of white, or a combination of the two, and it is SO good! I love brwon sugar.

So I will email you my recipe. Oh wait. You KNOW I don't have one. My recipe is to go buy the Pillsbury dough all ready to go in that little roll. The ones with Cinnabon icing are delish. Not as good as homemade, but that's how we roll around here.

My question is where are you serving these this weekend to non-family and can your family get in on it?

I agree about using brown sugar instead of white---so tasty. Come to think of it, I think pioneer woman has a recipe on her cooking site, you just might have to substitute a different icing since it’s for choir and hers has coffee in it. :o)

Ah, this must be a sign--when one great baker I know asks for a recipe, and another great baker I know posts a recipe the same day:
