Directions from Lucy

Lu: Hey Mom, do you know how to draw a mystery?

Me: A what?

Lu: A mystery. Okay. You do it like this. First you draw a straight line. Then a little line across, on the left. Then straight up, a curve, and a little line, and then a dot at the bottom.


Then she brought me the whiteboard, which showed a perfectly-formed, backwards question mark. I mean a mystery. They should call it that instead, don't you think?

(And then Zoe overheard, corrected her, drew a proper question mark, and informed Lucy that that's what it's called. Party pooper.)
