It's official: we're living in the future.

Flowing blood could power ipods; cellphones


That's right; researchers report that they can harvest energy by converting low-frequency vibrations, like simple body movements, the beating of the heart or movement of the wind, into electricity by using zinc oxide nanowires that conduct the electricity. The power generated could one day be used to charge iPods, cell phones and other personal electronic devices.


We'll be flying around in Jetsons-mobiles before you know it!

I read that article too! One of the other articles I read before was talking about bionanotechnology. Yikes! We ARE in the future!
