This year's version of this is today! The big kids have early release from school & we're all heading to Kate's house... last year it was at my house. Stay tuned for this year's pictures & report!
Last year I guess we called it GHD 06. Gingerbread House Day.
This year, according to recent emails, it seems to have changed to GBH Day 07. GingerBread House Day. Honestly, if we expect this new tradition to really catch on, we'd better get on the same page with the name of it!
As a sidenote, this family has always "named" events. We had formal titles for many of our biggest vacations growing up. So yes, it is important that we choose a formal name for our new tradition of annually decorating gingerbread houses!

or Gordon Bitner Hinckley day. :)
sorry, couldn't resist. :)
I hadn't noticed that! Well, Noah shares a birthday with him, so we already sorta have that day too :)
Yeah, I just noticed that last year we called it GHD. So which is it?? GHD or GBH Day?
I say it's GHD. This year's title was just an accident.
By the way, is it really that weird that our family gives everything titles? I LOVE titles and coming up with them. I'm thinking of a catchy title for this very comment right now... :)
It makes me wish that we would have named our little traditions and such. I think you guys are hillarious!
Yikes!!!!! I confess, I messed up big time by forgetting that it is GHD and most certainly not GBH! Wow, how could I have done that? I repent. The occassion shall remain GHD 07 etc. Maybe I was confused and had it mixed up with Great Big Hassle day!! j/k :)
I better switch my blog post to reflect the correct title!
