Last night was my first piano recital! Each of my students learned a Christmas song and we had it here at my house; they each did so well and I was
very proud of them.
(I have been teaching 12 students; 3 of them weren't able to be at the recital.)
In other news... I'm planning to post the quiz on Monday morning.

How old is the youngest one you teach? We want to get Andrew started, but still need the piano, and wondering how good it would be for a six year old.
I recommend age 7 but I do have one 6-yr-old now, and I'll be starting my Molly in the fall when she's 6 1/2. For the way I do it, they need to be able to read, and be able to sit still long enough.
And you can just get a $100-$150 keyboard from Costco; that's fine for practicing on, at least until they're older! Some of my students don't have real pianos at home & they're doing just fine.
The recital was GREAT! I am totally impressed with you. I actually went home and told Eric the next day that I was thinking that I should take lessons from you. Seriously. Maybe in a few years when all my kids are in school!
Yikes, teaching a grown-up?
We might become un-friends if I had to nag you all the time about practicing :)
