Songbird

Her 9th percentile stature is uniquely suited to vacuuming under the table

My little Zoe does not stop singing, and her songs are usually made up. I myself love to hear her sing, and love to listen to how her little mind works as she comes up with some very sweet lyrics and melodies, forever meandering along... unfortunately, her prime singing time is in the car while we're driving, and it drives her siblings crazy. So most of our car rides around town are filled with the sweet sounds of Zoe mixed with the annoyed commands of "Zoe! Stop singing!!" by the other kids. Usually we can get her stop if we listen to some other music in the car.

Here's her latest, which has gotten a lot of airtime lo these past several days:

Inside-outs are very dangerous
very dangerous
very dangerous
Inside-outs are very dangerous
like bees.

(repeat at least ten times)

If you'd like to try it yourself, the tune is kind of like the tune of Buffalo Gals Won't You Come Out Tonight. Except for the "like bees" part; that part is sung very deliberately, and then it starts right back in with the first line.
Try it, it's kinda fun.

(Happy St. Patty's Day!)

Man...you should have told people that you have an extra tall table with chairs that are like bar stools. If that was a normal table, Zoe would probably be classified as a dwarf! (Or is it more PC to say "little person?") Luckily some of us know that your table is tall and she is just an adorable, petite 4 year old! And I am sorry that I am going to have to side with your kids on this one. I have driven Zoe places where she has sung the entire time in the car. You can only hear, "B-I-N-G-O" so many times without going crazy!

She is so cute. We're looking forward to seeing her again- and hearing her sing.

Don't tell anyone, but Zoe is our favorite! Mostly because she is the friendliest to us!

Okay, so she is for sure on Caleb's list of take outs in the future, I swear they are soul mates. Caleb can sing about anything as well, and remembers every song he has ever heard.

I love hearing my kids sing too. This morning Sam was doing puzzles and singing the whole time about countries (except he was making up all of the names, and they mostly ended in "-asia"). It was cracking me up.
However I'm also going to have to side with the bigger kids & Jamie on this one too.

She is darling. Nate is really into singing too. The other day I caught him singing Sugarland's "Stay." Nothing like a cheating song for a preschooler!

Yea, Tiff is the nicest. I really didn't mean to hurt yout feelings. :)
AND I really did mean to say that that's the cutest picture ever. And Zoe's little voice is very cute... like last time I was in the car and she was singing to Paige the whole time to try and calm her down.

Ha ha. Charlie's a singer too, but his songs don't seem to last quite as long (only one liners, but still repeated over and over). But the words are always hillarious. Luckily he doesn't sing in the car, just while playing or walking around aimlessly. Cute Zoe, we want to see you guys sometime!
