Okay, I'll tell you what we brought home

The other purpose for our weekend trip - aside from visiting with family - was to pick up this:

It's been Hubs' parents' ski boat for the past 20+ years but she's still in pretty decent shape! We get to keep it here in AZ for a while, not really sure how long, but we'll sure enjoy it while we have it!

Her name is Tuesday Afternoon, named after the Moody Blues song. If you don't know that song or have never heard of the Moody Blues, shame on you. (You can hear it if you click on that link and then click play - this is a live version and I really like the album version better but this is the best I could find online for you on short notice.)

While I've got y'all's attention, does anyone know of a cheap place we can keep it? Right now we have it in storage for $75/mo and we would love to be paying less than that! (Free works for us too!)

In other news, will you please all observe a moment of silence
for the end of the
Phoenix Suns 2007-2008 season.

We are in mourning around here :(
We love you Suns!!

Love the boat! Love the name! Love that we live 5 minutes from you, the keepers of the boat!

HATE that the Suns lost last night! Hate that the season is over. Hate those Spurs.

The end.

Okay...we actually only live 1 minute from you. And we are so ready for a little trip to the lake!

I actually shed a few tears at the end of the game. I couldn't believe it, but I really thought they were going to pull it off. I had a really bad headache too, so I think that made it worse. :)

I do love the boat, and I'm surprised I never knew her name. I love it. And we're up for a lake trip too. ;) And I'm not sure why this matters, but we only live 9 minutes from you.

Love the boat and the name. We are too far away for a lake trip. :(

But, if you want to see how she floats in Tahoe, we're there!

How fun!!! I used to live on the lake and we got to go out on the boat at least twice a week. Those were some the of most memorable times in my life. I'm sure you'll definitely take advantage of it while you've got it.

So sad about the Suns. B was pretty upset. He kept flipping the channels after the game and watched all the commentary. I guess he wanted to rub salt in the wound. Next year!!!

She is a pretty sweet boat! Even thought she's gettin' up there, we've had some sweet memories in the 'ol Tuesday Afternoon! I think you'll have it for a year and then we get it next year!! YAY! (That's good for us, since I'm no where near 1 OR 9 miles from you!)

LUCKY! I have many fond memories on a boat as a child...often behind a boat with skis on. You will make sweet memories on "Tuesday Afternoon."
Enjoy :)
