Tip #4: Look for the good in others.
Just because.
When was the last time criticizing somebody or noticing their faults made you feel better? I mean, REALLY made you feel better; not just a in petty, "I'm better than them" 5-minute gratification kind of way?
Most people are basically good people. Try looking at them that way and see how it makes you feel.
Hey, I'm every bit as judgmental as the next girl but I'm going to give this a try too!

Ok so this is something that I have thought about a lot lately. I'm finding it is the best way to improve relationships, whether it is with a significant other, a boss, or a friend, this small thing has a huge power to make relationships better. When someone sees something good in me, it makes me want to live up to that even more...and it makes me like that person more too! It's just such a positive thing all around.
I always enjoy the Happy Life bits of wisdom!
Such a powerful statement. Thanks for the reminder.
Good advice. I am changing my blog address so I don't use my last name. Seriously, do you know how easy it is to find out where I live if people know my husband is Ryan and my last name and that I live in Gilbert. There is only one of us. It kind of freaked me out so that's why I am changing. It can be cute and catchy too....anyones come to mind?
Great tip. As a mom I have noticed that almost every time that I have judged another mother, I have been faced with the same challenge as that mother (ie pacifiers) If only I could stop it, my life would be easier!
"If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."
I may be pretty quiet while I'm working on this tip. :)
Good thought, and it's one to put into use, say on Sundays? Also other days. Oh, nevermind.
