If I told you...

You could could get:

2 avocados

7 bananas

8 plum tomatoes

1 bunch green leaf lettuce

10 red potatoes

2 orange peppers

3 pink grapefruits

1 bunch broccoli

2 bunches cilantro

8 oranges

7 zucchini

3 cucumbers

13 key limes

12 carrots

4 yellow onions

7 apples

ALL for $15, would you believe me?

The above list is all the stuff I got last Saturday! Every time it's a little different. The time before, everyone got a little less in quantity but some fun, more expensive items like artichokes and mangos! They do it every other Saturday and you pay $17 for your first time; $15 for each subsequent time. I brought a cooler last week to put my produce in to bring home, and it was overflowing!

Not only are we eating more delicious fresh produce around here, but my fridge looks just so pretty with all those colors inside :)

I love opening my refrigerator too and seeing all of that produce. And we definitely have been eating more veggies than usual since I don't want to waste a thing! It's a great deal. I wish I had known about it sooner.

Isn't the produce co-op great? Thanks to Emi for turning all of us onto it!

I have to agree that my fridge looks beautiful with all of that in it. I couldn't believe how much we got this last cycle. Didn't those apples just look scrumptious when you first saw them?! Good stuff.

That would make a beautiful fridge. But it would be even more beautiful if it was in a new fridge (my latest fantasy).

Too bad only one of my children would be interested in the produce.

It was a great haul last time! I hope that it continues! Have you tried the "artisian bread" yet? We got rosemary sourdough and it was awesome!! It was a tiny loaf but totally delicious.
