Mother's Day is such a great idea isn't it? I love it. Even when I'm on my feet all afternoon cooking for a big group, it's great! We had all of my family, including both grandmas, over for dinner tonight (a grand total of 21 people) and it was just lovely. Very noisy, thanks to 10 kids under the age of 8, but fun nonetheless! Thanks to all the mommas for bringing food and helping clean up (don't worry, the dads did most of the dishes and other clean-up).
My mom surprised each of her daughters with a lovely apron; here's mine!
I love it and am still wearing it even though the dinner party clean-up is long over. It's the same pattern as Molly's (scroll to the bottom of that post), with the embroidered pocket and everything; now she and I can match. Thanks Mom!Happy Mother's Day!
