Garage sale: postponed

I have told some of you that our long-discussed garage sale would take place tomorrow. Nope. We're shooting for next Saturday, November 15th, and if any of you would like to come and don't know where I live, just email me and I'll give you our address.

Part of the problem is that I have built this up to be a HUGE event in my mind, since we have never done it before in our 11 years of marriage, and we do have quite a bit of stuff to get rid of. So I have this idea that I have to "do it RIGHT!" and that's why I'm giving myself another week to get ready. That being said, I hope that any of YOU aren't building it up in your minds because if you come and see it probably won't be all that spectacular. We have a lot of baby stuff including some large items like a crib & changing table & high chair, lots of very nice baby/toddler clothes, toys, etc. as well as a lot of random household stuff. Like my skis/boots/poles I got when I was 17 but which are still in excellent condition! If that doesn't get you excited about it then I don't know what will! :)

You might want to change the date...post says next Saturday, but has the date for tomorrow, the 8th. :)

Thanks Heidi - that's what I get for trying to compose a post while I'm on the phone! :)

I am still planning on helping you -- whatever day you decide to do it!

(However, I do have my Super Saturday on the 15th and I signed up for 3 or 4 things, so I won't be able to be at your house ALL morning.)

I can't make it on the 15th, but would love to come over and see what you have...maybe on Friday the 14th? I'll call you.

Oh, can I get your skis/boots/poles and can they come live with MY neglected skis/boots/poles? They could have a really great time hanging out in my garage. Above the fake Christmas tree. Oh, the irony of the fake tree and the neglected skis. Man, I live in the desert!
