The kids got in on the money making action too and it didn't take long for the brownies to sell out (sorry, Noah is incapable of NOT making funny faces for pictures).
We sold quite a bit of stuff; all the big items are gone (crib, etc) except for two of the strollers. Out of the at least 40 baby/toddler dresses I had hanging up, we sold all but four of them. Amazing! We sold most of the books, several of the toys, and most of baby/toddler shoes. We sold a computer, a laptop, and a monitor. We sold some small kitchen appliances I never used and a few wedding presents still in their boxes (ugly picture frames, ugly candlesticks, etc). Everything that was out on the driveway that had not sold by noon, with the exception of the two strollers, went straight to D.I. What a great feeling to be rid of so much stuff!! Thank you Jamie for coming to help for the first couple of hours, and to Kate for coming during the last hour and bringing me a snack! Also thanks to my mom and my neighbor Becky for lending us the tables. It completely wore me out, I'm glad it's over, but it was a great success and I would do it again... in another 10 years :)

I'm glad it was a success. I look forward to the day when I can make some money selling off all my baby stuff! Our neighborhood did a garage sale on Sat also & I went to a few. It was very obvious the people who took it seriously (things were organized and priced) and the ones who didn't. I can see why your brownies sold out...25 cents and 4 adorable kids!
Your house was just the place to be on Saturday morning! Hello...one woman stayed for at least 30 MINTUES looking over and over at the baby girl dresses. She did purchase about 15 of them, but I think she just enjoyed being around! So are you keeping your big profits a secret?
Sounds very successful. I'm glad the kids got in on it too. We're excited to see you all next week!
So be honest, how much did ya make, I'm trying to see if it's worth it to me to try or not.
$368 :)
I was totally going to go and completely forgot. I didn't see your post until 11 AM that morning. Dang it! Glad it turned out great for you and the kiddos.
I'm so glad you got rid of all your big stuff! That is a pretty nice profit! What are you going to buy with all that $? I think it's funny that your kids are all bundled up like they're freezing...what was it, like 70 degrees?! We are SOOO excited to see you guys...we're gonna have a blast.
