I know it's Dec. 3rd but with Thanksgiving being so late this year I'm a little behind on the "Thankful" posts. I may get around to posting some more pictures from our trip to Utah but my sisters-in-law have already done a fine job; you can see their trip reports & pictures here and here.
On Monday we had a post-Thanksgiving FHE about things we're thankful for, and I think Zoe's list is pretty awesome: a picture for each item accompanied by the letter it starts with. She's gotten pretty good at letter sounds; I only had to help her with C for Chair:
1. blankies (not to be confused with "blankets")
2. family
3. bed
4. house
5. table, chairs
6. plants, flowers
7. talking (it's a mouth, talking)
8. pool
9. towels
10. food
11. clothes
That girl is a cutie.

That is so sweet. Caroline is going to town on her wish list, writing it herself. Every time she comes to a letter she is not quite sure of, she folds her arms and pouts if she doesn't get it the first try. That girl...so stubborn...
