Zoe's Christmas list.

She can't quite remember what all of it says (she's 4).

We know that the first line, down to the ZZ on the 2nd line, says "dolly like Presley's."

From the next letter on the 2nd line to the M on the 3rd line, says "and Glinda costume."

On the 4th line you will clearly read, "teapot." Teapot is repeated at the end of the 5th line & beginning of the 6th, and I'm not sure why but I know she really wants a teapot.

The bottom of the list says, "So good-bye."

Zoe loves trying to sound out words and is constantly writing elaborate notes like this, fully expecting that everyone else will be able to read them! How I wish she had given me this list last week when she wrote it, so I could know everything she meant to say.

Oh well.
So good-bye.

P.S. This is Happy Life's 300th post! Wowee kazowee!

That's so cute! Lauren drew her Christmas list one year and when I asked her to interpret, she labeled things like real handcuffs and a candy bar vending machine. It was quite the list. This year the girls helped each other make their lists, and then I had to have them each make another list with me so I would know what they were talking about.

I love to try to read what they've sounded out.

Hey, ask your techno hubs to research how to get our blogs in book form--blurb.com apparently can't slurp blogger.

Happy 300th! That is such a cute list. Gabe keeps telling everyone he wants a train, but sadly to say he isn't getting one. Not til he stops pooping in his pants! That will be fun when he can write letters of his own.
