I resolve to...

1984 was a good year for goals:

I was 8 1/2 when I wrote this. I have a vague recollection of the poem I wrote that made me think I was a poet. If I ever find it, I'll have to post it. Let me tell you, it rhymed like crazy.

How great is this? I just love it. I am tempted to look through old journals now, but I have too many other things to do... like recovering from Christmas and vacation... putting everything away, laundry, etc.
I love that you wanted to write books and be a better poet. And I love that you wanted to be in more talent shows. It's not like there were THAT many to even be in. :)
Anyway, I think this is awesome.

This is so fun! I reminds me of when we would look through Dad's big book and see the note about "clean my room 4 time" and "take out trash 7 time." I know that wasn't his resolutions, but same concept. Very cute that you found it!

I can't believe you still have that list. That is too funny. In response to your comment. I am still doing weight watchers. I am going to write about it on my blog but I am afraid I will jinks myself once it is posted. I have been meeting my own personal goals and was so scared to step on the scale this morning with our vacation and all and was proud to only gain 1 pound. So one more month to go and 6 more pounds of baby weight to lose. Give me a few weeks and I post it on my blog!
