"...the selection of Sarah Palin as a vice presidential candidate scares the holy living (crap) out of me." - Heather Armstrong (Dooce), popular blogger
"Boys and girls, boys and girls. Did you hear her? I'm scared. She scares me. She scares me. I'm hiding under the covers. She's worse than the boogeyman." - Sean "Diddy" Combs
"Sarah Palin can't come to my party. Sarah Palin can't come to my show. It's nothing personal." - Madonna, on her latest concert tour
"I think there's a really good chance that Sarah Palin could be president. And I think that's a really scary thing." - Matt Damon

"My nine year-old daughter asked why I am afraid of Sarah Palin. That is a smart question from a smart girl to a very smart mother. I answered, 'Because she doesn't stand for anything that's good for women, for little girls or for any Americans.'" - Francesca Biller-Safran, a contributor to the Huffington Post
Come again?
How is it that NOT ONE PERSON from the women's rights, feminist, women's lib, etc. crowd does not think that Sarah Palin for VP is a wonderful thing and that she is a great role model for women and girls everywhere?

Because they see her as a character - I think they see the Tina Fey sketches and think they are for real!
Somehow all of these people need to see your previous post about my sister in law. Now THAT'S SCARY!
They are all just scared that she might actually fix some things around here. And then they'll all look like super idiots when she's the best VP we've ever had. If I was Sharon Osborn, I'd be affraid of Sarah Palin with a gun too!!!
Oh, and the previous post...Seriously??? And they'll propbably end up voting for him too.
I don't get it.
The only thing that I can kind of relate to is that I've actually muttered the words, "I'm scared what will happen if Obama becomes president."
But I thought PDaddy's comment a week ago or so on Laura's blog was good. He mentioned that neither new president will actually be able to make that many changes with all of the checks and balances. So I'm not as "scared" anymore.
I do wonder why the feminists don't like Palin. I don't get it at all.
They don't like Palin because she is pro-life, pure and simple. For the hard-core woman's "right to choosers," there is only one choice and motherhood isn't it. So much for being "open-minded."
Essentially, they only want a woman who agrees with them on every issue. Which, if you ask me, is much scarier than a NORMAL 42-year-old woman who happens to have conservative views.
As a plug for my own open-mindedness, I still said "Good for her" when Hillary was making her run, even though I disagreed with her on nearly every issue.
Hi Sara ...
I've been "spying" on your gorgeous family from Kate's blog. I went to school with Kate and my brother - Jeff - was in your grade at Hopi? (I think).
We LOVE Sara at our house ... and are praying DAILY that she gets to serve as VP! Our other option is quite a bit scarier!!
