I'm not sure why, but I really do like this tradition

This year we went with small bowls of concentrated dyes, which lend themselves handily for painting with q-tips,

or spooning for all-over rich color. I like this method so much better than the traditional bigger cups of watery dye; my kids like it too.

We always end up with a pretty good assortment.
At our house the Easter Bunny gets the eggs out of the fridge in the wee hours and hides them in the backyard for finding Easter morning. This is the first Easter we've had a dog so we might need to tell the Easter Bunny to adjust his plans a little; hmm.

Happy Easter to all of you out there in blogland!

Pretty eggs! Looks like you all had fun! We just finished ours this afternoon. I like the q-tip idea. HAPPY EASTER!

Our egg dyeing party in Monaco was still the best EVER!

Phrasing it "in Monaco" makes it sound so exotic and international! :)
