Regarding my camera: it has officially bit the dust. It still "acts" like it's taking a picture, but it's not. I'm actually pretty impressed that it lasted as long as it did; 3 months after getting run over by a truck.
Regarding my diet: I have not been very faithful about counting points which means my progress has been slower, BUT I have lost about 9 1/2 pounds which I am happy about. Not done yet though. And I started exercising again - primarily treadmill while watching DVDs of Arrested Development. My that is entertaining.
Regarding Juno: She's awesome and is growing like a weed. Was 5 pounds when we got her in January; now she's 25 pounds already!
Regarding Facebook: so far so good. The very obvious "con" is that it can take some time, but only if you choose to. I have had a LOT of fun finding old friends from various stages of my life; for some reason it is extremely interesting to me to see who's married, who has kids, who's fat, who's bald, who has made dramatic changes to their religious or political beliefs, and what part of the country/world they live in. But then, once I find out that information, I'm satisfied. It only took me a few days to find all the people I really wanted to find, and now that I know all of that information about them as well as seeing pictures of their kids, I'm spending less time on Facebook and checking it occasionally for updates & random other "friends" who have found me. I like the way it's set up and the privacy options available.
Regarding the Wii: so fun. My kids have played it a lot BUT there are rules in place. In the morning before school, they are only allowed to play if they are "ready to walk out the door," as well as bedrooms being clean & etc. Usually this is just Noah, who sets his alarm for 6am and gets all ready for school, has breakfast, brushes his teeth, packs up his backpack, lets Juno out and feeds her breakfast, and comes to announce all of this to me by 6:45. After school, they can only play if their daily chores are done (circle chart), homework, toy room & bedrooms cleaned up, etc. It has worked so well, I'm thinking of implementing additional conditions like having to finish their dinner even if they don't like it.
Regarding the cinnamon rolls: I made some. They were fabulous and were instantly inhaled by my Sunday guests. I posted the recipe here.
Whew! And now we're all caught up around here. Coming soon: Molly's 7th birthday (Friday), a visit from the in-laws this weekend, Easter, a busy Easter church program for me (lots of music, in all of which I am involved), etc etc. Spring is fun isn't it!
Oh yeah thanks for the reminder Kate... I am singing a SOLO in stake conference the week after Easter. I'm freaking out, people!! They are BROADCASTING stake conference to all the buildings in our stake this year since we have so many people. The very thought of being BROADCAST has my tummy all a-flutter...

Congrats on losing 9.5 pounds, Sara!!! I haven't lost any that I wanted to.
Have fun with the in-laws this weekend- it should be a fun one for all of you!
Congrats on the weight loss. 9 1/2 lbs. is something to be proud of!
I'm still pretending Facebook doesn't exist.
The Wii is quite the motivational tool, isn't it? It's amazing what my boys will/won't do when faced with options.
I'm sure your ward uses & appreciates your musical talents as much as our ward does with Buffie!
You are awesome and look great! What's your secret on loosing lbs while doing all that delicious cooking and baking? The cinnamon rolls were so yummy, thanks!
Thanks for all of the updates! You did forget to mention your big solo... That's HUGE.
That's great on the weight loss! Dan just procured a treadmill and elliptical, so I should be trimming up soon. :)
The wii is a great motivator, but so far it's not persuasive to Nate regarding the potty. Yes, we have issues there again. Gotta love strong willed children.
Good luck singing. That would be my idea of torture. Or maybe the listeners' torture. You know I mean me singing, not you darling. I'm sure you'll do spectacularly.
Wow, broadcast, huh? Good luck, you'll do great!
Good job on losing the weight you have!
I too just joined facebook and I just found you and friend requested you, so you better approve or else! j/k
Good luck on your solo, but you don't need it. You and your sister's have amazing voices!
Good job - I want to lose 9 1/2 pounds too...eating too many things like cinnamon rolls. Facebook is OK. My computer is too close to my comings and goings around the kitchen and laundry room so I can check it too often. Doing it less and less.
