Oh, and the kids write notes to her almost every time. They've been trying to get out of the Tooth Fairy what her secret is; how she's able to sneak in and out of the house at night undetected. Lucy's note last night said, "What part of the house do you come in?" since Zoe's recent query of "How do you get in the house?" did not yield a sufficient answer. She does answer; she just keeps it vague (and truthful).

That Tooth Fairy is one busy lady!

The boys have been very concerned about how Santa will get into and out of our house because we don't have a chimney. Then when I told them he could just come in the front door, they said, "but you keep it locked!" And then when I told them I would leave it unlocked on Christmas Eve only, they said, "but then the bad guys will come in and get us!" Thankfully, they haven't asked many questions about the tooth fairy yet...
Such a cute lost tooth grin! We have a loser tooth fairy who ALWAYS forgets. The excuses keep getting better, though...
I could tell that the tooth fairy had been leaving more your notes for your children with the conversation on the way home from Kindergarten yesterday.
Lucy: You guys, you know the tooth fairy just comes through our door.
Presley: How else would she get in?
Lucy: Well, she wrote me a note that says she comes through the door of our room.
Sam: You know she is tiny. She is the size of a fairy.
Presley: I think she is as small as Tinkerbell.
Lucy: Yeah, but she comes through the door to get to our room!
Lucy was really wanting to make sure everyone understood her point since she had her information DIRECT from the tooth fairy herself! So cute.
