Guess what we were doing at 6:24am today?

Hint: we're big nerds.

I hope we do it SOMETIME. But we actually haven't talked about it yet. Maybe because my hubs knows I can barely get our of bed before 8! Did you see it? Was it cool?

Was there an eclipse? Or is that Venus? Since it was in the teens this morning--we stayed inside (also, we didn't know about it, whatever it is).

At 6:42 am Dan was in the shower and I was telling Jake that if he does indeed have an ear infection we'd have to wait until the doctor's office opened and telling Gabe and Jake to please be quiet and lie still since Nate was up at 2 am tragically puking all over his Thomas blanket. Just in case you were wondering.

I think it was the Space Station. Another nerd told us about it.

Yep. That picture is actually the moon (the only thing bright enough for my low-quality, run-over-by-a-truck camera to capture) but we did see the ISS (us space nerds call it that) for several seconds going across the sky. It looked like a satellite going overhead except bigger/brighter. It will be visible for the next several days, passing overhead at certain times and only in the sky for a couple of minutes.

We were bundled up in all our blankets, it was only -25 f here at 6:45 am, so we were staying in as trying to stay warm.

Molly was very quick to report your early morning activities when I took her to school. It was cute to see her so excited. My girls were like, "You saw what?" They had no idea what she was even talking about. And then the one-upper in the car reported seeing it from her house too. Yeah, right.
