Faces of terror!

I think this picture is so funny, but I probably shouldn't because my girls were actually terrified. At the end of this ride (which Zoe was just barely tall enough to go on), Molly was openly sobbing, and Zoe & Lucy were bravely fighting back tears while telling me that they did NOT want to go on that ride again! Noah loved it and really wanted to go again, although you wouldn't know it by looking at him in this picture.

Click to enlarge the picture... notice the faces of terror and the extremely flexed arms. I thought it was fun but that's the last rollercoaster-type ride my girls are going to go on for a long time... unless I can convince them otherwise!

I'm sorry but that is one funny picture. I clicked to enlarge it and I couldn't help laughing. I love all your faces and especially those tight fists!

It is funny! Even you and Mom look scared! My boys do NOT have any fear when it comes to rollercoasters. They went on some seriously scary rides at Kings Island and were begging for more. I can't believe your girls had such a negative reaction! So sad! Oh well, thrill rides aren't for everyone. :)

Poor girls. Did they show some fear/hesitation before the ride? I was scared of rollercoasters until I was 15. My poor parents...one of them always had to stay off of the big rides just for me.

I think it's totally funny. And you know, you do need to give your kids stuff to talk about in therapy someday. :)

I can understand the terror though; Gabe is quite the chicken. He'd never even get close to that ride.

I thought it was going to be like Splash Mountain, with the "main scary part" being a steep dive down and a little splash but the rest of the ride being tame. Well it did the steep dive and the girls were okay, but then it did some more rollercoaster-ish stuff; about like maybe Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. (But this was at Sea World.) Molly did NOT want to ride in the front row but Noah did, and the little girls & my mom & I already had our seating arrangements set so Molly was stuck in the front. It was a fun ride; more of a "ride" than I expected which was great for me since I LOVE rollercoasters :) The height requirement on this is 42".

Molly has never liked anything remotely scary though; I feel bad that it freaked her out so badly. But I still love this picture!

Oh, man! Lucy's face makes me want to cry!! It is a pretty funny picture, and I know my kids would have been freaked out too. We took Gabe down one of the tube water slide rides and Cherry Hill this year, and he literally SCREAMED the whole time. I felt like such a bad mom!
