Halloween Part One

Last night was our church Halloween party, which was SO much fun but SO cold! Unseasonably chilly, so Zoe & Lucy had to wear jackets over their costumes and all the girls kept begging to just sit in the car.... but they still had a fun time; "trunk or treating," eating hot dogs (and hamburgers and chili), playing games, and of course admiring the many cute costumes everyone was wearing.

I will take more pictures of the kids on Saturday; this picture is just a sneak-peek of their costumes, three of which I made this year. I love the way they turned out! Stay tuned for more pictures after Saturday...

I am so jealous your ward party was last night. Ours is on Halloween and I really wish it wasn't. Makes the day super crazy. It was cold last night, we are such wimps here in AZ. Glad you did well on your Chili! Can't wait to see a full body shot of all the costumes, Noah looks great!

I'm pretty much going to echo Amy. Our's is also on Halloween. And I have been freezing today. And I can't wait to see the costumes. Especially Hermione! And the mummy. Well, ALL of them!!

I'm hesitant to ask what the temperature was during the party (the 50's?). I guess that is COLD for that part of the country. We got a little bit more snow here this morning, but tomorrow is supposed to be a tad bit warmer (Currently its 40 degrees). So, it looks like Sloan will be wearing a body suit and pants under her costume- hopefully it'll still look okay. Looking forward to seeing your kids costumes!

Our trunk or treat was last Saturday. It was a nice warm night and it was great to get the first load of candy a whole week before Halloween. Glad it will be warmer tomorrow for real trick or treating! It just wouldn't be Halloween without wearing sandals - we are such wimps here!
