Man...we look so SERIOUS in that picture. Smile, girls! This isn't a funeral. I am just telling myself that the judges had ear plugs in from the awful girl before us. So they didn't really even hear how we rocked it! It's okay. It's only the dream I have had for like 5 years that has been shattered.
And by the way, now that you and I have both lost a bunch-o-weight since that audition, you have to get a new picture of us! And I think Kate has cute hair.

I WAS THERE!!! I AM A STAGE MOM IN TOTAL SHOCK AT THE DECISION TO CHOOSE OFF KEY SCREAMERS INSTEAD OF A BEAUTIFULLY BLENDED HARMONIOUS VERSION OF OUR NATIONAL SONG. THE WHOLE SUNS SEASON IS TARNISHED NOW. EACH GAME I WILL COMPARE THE PERFORMER TO WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN MY DUAGHTERS OUT THERE.
