Kate, I'm going to have to experiment with that "fireworks" setting you say our camera has, next year!
Then we spent today at the lake. Some friends were able to go with us last-minute and we had a great time! Here's Noah & Sadie P riding the tubes, with Noah giving the "go faster" signal. If you look closely you'll see that he only has one missing tooth on the top.
A little while later, he hit his mouth on the tube on a big bump and lost a tooth! It was the next one to come out anyway, but it bled a little and he calmly gave the "stop" signal as he tried to figure out why his mouth was bleeding. What's amazing is that Hubs was able to FIND the tooth in the tube afterwards. Coming out of crossed-eyes... this silly kid can't ever give me a "normal" smile but I'll forgive him in this case!
Now Noah and his dad share the bond of both having lost a tooth while riding the tubes!
Anyway it was a great weekend. To say that the kids are tired out is a gross understatement, but they went to bed early tonight. Phew!

Can't believe AP found the tooth!!
Happy Fourth your way.
So funny about losing the tooth on the tube! Glad you had fun at the lake. I was glad for a day to sleep in. Sorry again that we bailed.
I'll post a pic I took on "fireworks" setting. It just is a long shutter, I think. I don't know much about photography.
Funny about the tooth! The one that Bennett just lost came out while the boys were wrestling!
So awesome he found the tooth, that is amazing. Looks like you had a great fourth.
It looks like you had a wonderful 4th of July. Your family is so cute and seriously always seems to be up to something fun!
It WAS a super fun weekend. And you know, this is why I don't need a blog. We do so much together... my life is pretty much covered through you and Kate! :)
If I did have a blog, I would have to create a post called "Sara Gives Service" or something to report how helpful you are to me. People, Sara dropped off homemade rolls to me yesterday and then today dropped off cookies while picking up my girls to have spend the night since I am sick. SO NICE!
By the way, I look just fabulous in the top picture. Yikes! What am I doing?
Looks like your family had fun! I had to stay home because my oldest started complaining of a really bad earache 20 minutes before it was time to go to the fireworks. So we didn't get to have as much fun as you! Maybe next year.
While you were telling the tooth story, all I could think about was AP's tooth story. Then you even metioned that too. That is a pretty funny coincidence that they share!
