A few more scenery pics

Although I'm sure you've all had enough, I'm putting up a few more pictures from Durango. I was just amazed at the scenery. The trees were so tall and dark and coniferous. The mountains were so high and steep and craggy. The meadows were so green and full of wildflowers. There was water everywhere: lakes, streams, rivers, rain. We just couldn't help but take a million pictures!

The kids and me at Molas Pass, on the way home from Ouray. We were a little chilly because it was about 48 degrees outside and we had just come from swimming at the Ouray Hot Springs Pool (which I regrettably have no pictures of).

Maybe they were sick of having their picture taken? (the deer too)

There's a waterfall in the middle there (above), running down from the melting snow.

Ice Lake: the destination of Hubs, Eric, & Zac on their backpacking overnighter. Just take a look at the color of the water! This was at about 12,200 feet elevation. You can see their tents by the lake there. SO pretty.

These are all awesome pictures. That ice lake looks so incredible. I can't get over it. The Molas Pass picture is cute too. Sorry that Lucy's eyes were closed. I didn't realize it, or I would have taken another one! Man, that place (all of it) was GORGEOUS. I wanna go back....

Loved all the pics you posted. Wow, what a great place to vacation and relax and have fun. I don't think I would want to come home. Glad you did make it home OK!

That place is gorgeous! And to think my sister wants to move back from CO. I want to blog about our NC trip but the pictures are kinda lost right now, waiting for Steve to recover them!
