As some of you know, I have actually been out of town for the past week and from what I understand there's very limited internet access where we're staying and besides that we don't have a laptop anymore anyway so any internet access I have is borrowed and brief which is why I haven't been able to check your blogs lately (how's that for a run-on?)...
But thanks to some great improvement that BLOGGER has made as of late, I am able to automatically continue publishing posts that I wrote, like, 10 days ago! Ah, technology. Love it, love it.
Anyway, I have started another blog that I thought I'd introduce you to. It's called From the Kitchen of Happy Life and it's all recipes, cooking/baking tips, tutorials, etc etc. So far I've just copied & pasted the recipes I've already put on this blog plus a few more, but I have several more that I've started typing up. Eventually I will also put cake-making tutorials on there, or at least more detailed directions on some of the fun cakes I've made. I'm excited about it; it will be fun for me to keep that blog up while reserving this one for family & personal topics. Hubs will make me a fine new header soon (he just doesn't know it yet!) but the template is the same as this one; nice and familiar for my die-hard fans :)
All of the recipes are things that I actually cook/bake and that my family eats on a regular basis. There will be a pretty good mix of types of food but nothing so fancy that you can't pronounce the ingredients. I'm hoping it will be helpful for you to look at if you need an idea for dinner some night. I know I'll be looking at it for that purpose, once I have a few more recipes on there!
If any of you have an idea of a recipe you've eaten of mine that I should post, please let me know.
Thanks for reading!

What a great idea! I've been thinking about posting my favorite recipes on my blog. Maybe I'll copy you and create a different one. And I love that tuna macaroni salad - I was actually going to make it the other day...
I've been thinking about doing this, too. I'm excited to read your recipes and let them inspire me to want to cook again! :)
That is such an incredible idea! I am always looking for new recipes to steal. I actually used to look on a blog for recipes and anyone could share recipes on it. It was great. One day I went to look something up and the blog was gone. Bummer. Hopefully I can get some new ideas from your blog. Thanks Sara!
That is a great idea. I'm just wondering why you didn't name it "Perfect Kitchen" or "Never-Fail Recipes." :) (I'm thinking of your recipe names from the 99th ward cookbook, in case you don't remember.)
Oh don't worry Laurie, some of those "never-fail" recipes will be posted on there with their proper titles! :)
