I've been calling her Zoze lately. Rhymes with rose. Short for Zo-zo, which is short for Zoe.
And now down to the nitty gritty ... yesterday Zoe learned how to SWIM! So, now we're four for four and I'm just thrilled (Lucy learned how a couple weeks ago). Many thanks to Kate for being a tireless cheerleader in the endeavour. Kate & her boys were over at our house swimming yesterday, and I had no idea that it was to be THE DAY for Zoe. But after a lot of sweet-talking and convincing (and trying to trick her a little bit by letting the air out of her floaties) she finally did it! The look on her face when she swam a couple of feet by herself for the first time was priceless; she was SO proud of herself.
For this picture I told her to smile that same way -- not quite but a happy picture nonetheless. Her baby doll insisted on being in the picture with her, and Zoe kept telling her to smile. And then she told me afterwards, "My baby doesn't know how to smile very big." Funny.

Yeah for Zoe! My boys are still complaining that we haven't had swimming lessons yet; I'm just trying to get through soccer. Whew.
I've been waiting for this post! I was SO thrilled to be there on the BIG day. I also would like to take a little credit... I was a pretty good cheerleader. ;) The look on Zoe's face WAS priceless. I was SO proud of her. And watching her confidence grow by the minute was just amazing. She's so cute.
I loved AP's reaction when he came home. First he cheered for Zoe, and then he started (fake) ripping down the pool fence!
That is awesome. Your Zoze is pretty darn cute. She looks SO much like her Mom :)
Yay Zoe! What a great inspiration and example for Reagan (hopefully)
Hooray Zoe! Having all 4 kids swim is such a nice thing! How fantastic! I can't wait to see her in action sometime.
Yea! Please share your oh so wise secrets, I've got a six year old who still needs help.
Way to go Zoe! I have a feeling that day is a LONG way off for Gabe...given his reaction to the boating on the 4th!
