The House

Our digs for the week. My parents rented it from their hairdresser, who is rumored to be selling it after this year... anyone in the market? It's gorgeous! 5200 square feet, about 1/2 hour north of Durango, right on Lake Purgatory... about 1 mile from Durango Mountain Resort (formerly known as Purgatory Ski Resort).

Being the family with the most children and no nappers among us, we were afforded the master suite! I wish I had taken more pictures of it but the master tub is a good indication of how nice and fancy this place was.

There was ample room in the master suite for Hubs & I and our four kiddos. Hubs & I shared the King-sized bed, obviously. Molly slept on a pull-out couch. Lucy slept on a roll-away. Noah slept on the new Spiderman blow-up sleeping bag/matress he got for his birthday. Zoe, being the smallest, slept on a chair with an ottoman shoved up against it. Perfect!

Oh, it's sad that this picture is so crooked, but, may I introduce you my dream kitchen. Well, the range anyway. The whole kitchen was actually a little bit too big; it took about an hour and a half to wipe down all the counters (exaggeration, yes). But it was awfully fun to do a little bit of cooking with this Viking beauty.

I must include a scenery shot since I have very many from this trip. That rainbow was SO vibrant in real life, and peeking from behind the hills. Amazing.

What's with the random walking stick behind the master tub? I didn't notice it until looking at the bath pictures of my kids later. So funny.
I have a photo of the whole kitchen, but you still can't quite grasp the enormity of it unless you are there in person.
