Hubs, Noah, & Molly hiked up to the top of a hill by the house one morning - in the background is the lake that the house is on, and just to the left of Molly's shoulder you can see the front of the house. They were quite a ways up there!
Old mining buildings, near Silverton.
The adorable little town of Ouray, nestled in the mountains. It's pronounced yoo-RAY, named after a Ute Indian chief. FYI. The drive between the house where we stayed and Ouray was a little over an hour, and it was such a gorgeous drive through steep mountain passes (not good for the carsick-prone) - we went up there twice during the trip. Lots of fun things to do and pretty things to see there.
Hubs, Eric, & Zac went on an overnight backpacking trip mid-week, which I'll have a couple of pictures of in the next post. This was a treacherous crossing over a waterfall - you can see to the right what a steep drop-off it was!
A picnic in a park in Durango - this actually wasn't on my list of pictures to put in this post but maybe it was meant to be. Noah was pretending to steal Molly's banana; sillies. There was an extreme amount of silliness between those two on this trip!

That trip looks so fun! That area is beautiful.
What great fun--did you rethink Lucy's white outfit after the hike?
I'm glad everyone safely crossed that rickety bridge (I'm a bit nervous just looking at it from here).
All those pictures are so great! I really want to take my kids to do something really fun like that. That house was sweet!! I love that bathtub!
I was going to comment on Lucy's outfit too. You sure had a busy Sunday after we left! Fun pictures.
